Shaun Cummins started boxing at the age of 6 years old and was a feared opponent as a amateur and later as a professional boxer. Shaun was as tough as the come and had powerful punches in either fist, Shaun broke 3 opponents jaws and scored 14 knock outs in a career spanning 9 years and 29 pro fights. Shaun lived in Leicester City and his natural rival was none other than Chris Pyatt who Shaun's father sponsored and helped on several occassions and at one point Shaun liked Pyatt but that all changed way back in 1987! At this time Shaun was only 19 and had only had 3 pro contest, while Pyatt had recently lost his European Title. Shaun was asked to spar a couple of rounds and he though Shaun had a badly injured right hand he agreed to spar. Pyatt had a few frined there and tried to impress by knocking Shaun out but unfortunately Pyatt basically got his ass slapped as Shaun easily out classed him. After the sparring session they pair would not be frineds again and despite the many challenges that Shaun made Pyatt never seemed to have the balls to accept the Guvnor's challenge!
